Summary

Gives effect to Australia’s commitments under the World Trade Organization’s Expanded Information Technology Agreement by amending the

Customs Tariff Act 1995
to: create new tariff classifications to enable certain information technology products to be separately identified; incrementally reduce the customs duty rates on certain information technology products to free; and remove obsolete customs duty rates.
